Traveling to Copenhagen

By Train

Traveling to Copenhagen by train is both efficient and scenic, especially for those coming from nearby countries. The city's main railway hub, København H (Copenhagen Central Station), is a key point in the Scandinavian rail network, offering excellent connectivity to major cities across Europe.

By Plane

For those arriving by plane, Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup) serves as the primary gateway to the city. It is the largest airport in the Nordic region and one of Europe’s oldest international airports, known for its efficiency and passenger-friendly facilities.

Getting Around Copenhagen

From Copenhagen Airport to the City Center

To reach Copenhagen City Center from the airport, take Metro Line M2 (direction Vanløse) and get off at Nørreport Station. We encourage you to use public transportation to minimize your carbon footprint.

From Copenhagen City Center to DTU

From Kongens Nytorv

  • Take the Metro or walk to Nørreport Station.
  • From Nørreport, take bus line 150S (direction Kokkedal St.), departing from the above-ground bus terminal.
  • Get off at Rævehøjvej, DTU, and walk to the campus.

From Copenhagen Central Station (Vesterbro area)

  • Walk to Copenhagen Central Station and take S-train Line A (direction Hillerød St.).
  • Get off at Lyngby Station and transfer to bus line 40E (direction Rævehøjvej, DTU).
  • Get off at the final stop (Rævehøjvej, DTU) and walk to the campus.

Walking Directions

From Rævehøjvej, DTU bus stop, it's a 6-minute walk to Building 116.
